If you have a Chase card, you could be leaving up to $240 a year in free grocery money on the table. Chase and Instacart are giving monthly Instacart credits and free Instacart+ memberships to most Chase cards through December 31, 2027. The biggest credit is on the $0 annual fee Chase Ink business cards, and it stacks across cards.

🔥 Section 1: The Short Version
- Chase Ink business cards ($0 annual fee): $20 Instacart credit every month = up to $240/year per card
- 3 free months of Instacart+ per eligible card, and it stacks across cards
- Hotel, airline and other co-brand Chase cards get $10–$20 a month
- Credits are use-it-or-lose-it every month. They don’t roll over.
- Runs through December 31, 2027
💳 Section 2: Chase Ink Cards: $0 Annual Fee, Up to $240/Year Per Card
The Chase Ink business cards carry the richest Instacart perk, and they don’t charge an annual fee. Eligible cards:
- Chase Ink Business Cash®
- Chase Ink Business Unlimited®
- Chase Ink Cash® (legacy)
Note: the Ink Business Preferred® is not part of this offer. Chase’s terms say the Ink credit loads into an Instacart Business account, but readers report that a regular Instacart account works too. If you’re prompted to add a business profile, it only takes a minute.
📌 What You Get
- 3 months of complimentary Instacart+: $0 delivery fees on orders over $35, reduced service fees, and extra perks like Peacock streaming
- $20 Instacart credit every month while your Instacart+ membership is active, worth up to $240 a year per card
📈 Section 3: Here’s Where It Gets Crazy: It Stacks
If you hold more than one eligible card, you can enroll each one. Every enrolled card adds its own monthly credit and 3 more free months of Instacart+.
| Eligible Ink cards enrolled | Instacart credits (up to) | Free Instacart+ |
|---|---|---|
| 1 card | $240/year | 3 months |
| 2 cards | $480/year | 6 months |
| 3 cards | $720/year | 9 months |
📌 Stacking Rules (From Readers Who’ve Done It)
- Each card must be a different eligible card. You can’t add two identical cards (e.g., two Ink Business Cash cards) to the same Instacart account.
- You can register cards on both your personal and business profiles in Instacart.
- The free months really do extend. Readers report each new card pushes the Instacart+ renewal out another 3 months, and a paid membership pauses until your free months run out. One well-known deals blogger stacked enough cards to push his free membership to 2030.
- Only one credit applies per order, so place a separate order for each credit.
🛠️ Section 4: How to Activate
- Go to instacart.com/p/chase-ink and enroll your eligible Ink card.
- Your $20 credit appears in your Instacart account at the start of each month.
- Pay with the enrolled Ink card at checkout so the credit applies.
- Use it before the month ends. Credits expire at the end of each calendar month and do not roll over.
Tip: some readers see a “card declined” message when linking a card. Trying again later, or in a different browser, usually fixes it.
Other Chase cards enroll at instacart.com/p/chase-cobrands (hotel and partner cards) and instacart.com/p/chase-united (United cards).
⚠️ Section 5: The Fine Print You Should Know
- After the free months, Instacart+ renews at $99/year (or the then-current rate) unless you cancel during the complimentary period.
- Credits only arrive while Instacart+ is active. If you cancel, the monthly credits stop.
- Even paying $99 for Instacart+, one Ink card’s $240 in credits still works out to about $141 a year ahead, if you use every credit.
- Co-brand card credits apply to one purchase of $10+ with a single retailer.
🏨 Section 6: Other Chase Cards That Pay You Instacart Money
Many Chase co-branded hotel, airline and partner cards get their own credits through December 31, 2027:
| Card | Instacart+ benefit | Monthly credit |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel & partner co-brands: Marriott Bonvoy (Bold, Boundless, Bountiful), World of Hyatt (personal & business), Southwest (Plus, Premier, Priority, Performance Business, Premier Business), IHG One Rewards (Premier, Premier Business, Traveler), Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Aeroplan, Disney Premier Visa | 3 months complimentary | $10 (up to $120/year) |
| United Club℠ & United Club℠ Business | Complimentary through 2027 | $20 (two $10 credits) |
| United℠ Quest | 3 months complimentary, then 50% off annual renewal | $15 (one $10 + one $5 credit) |
| United℠ Explorer & United℠ Business | 3 months complimentary, then 25% off annual renewal | $10 |
What about Sapphire? The Chase Sapphire Preferred®, Sapphire Reserve® and Freedom® cards are not part of this Instacart offer. Sapphire Reserve’s grocery-delivery perk is DoorDash instead.
🥕 Section 7: The Chase Instacart Mastercard®
If you shop on Instacart all the time, the co-branded Instacart Mastercard® focuses on cash back instead of monthly credits, and it has a $0 annual fee.
- $50 Instacart credit automatically upon approval
- 5% cash back on Instacart app and Instacart.com purchases (first $6,000 spent each year)
- 5% cash back on Chase Travel purchases
- 2% cash back at restaurants, gas stations and select streaming services
- 1% cash back on everything else
💡 Section 8: Pro Tips to Squeeze Out Every Dollar
- Enroll every eligible card. You’ll get more free months and more credits. Remember it’s one credit per order, so split your orders.
- Choose pickup, not delivery. There’s no delivery fee and no driver tip, and you’ll see fewer of the price markups that come with delivery, so a $10 or $20 credit goes further.
- Set a monthly reminder. Put a calendar alert in the last week of every month so free grocery money never expires unused.
- Paying with your Instacart balance? Readers report the credit still applies, as long as the enrolled Chase card is selected as the payment method.
📌 Section 9: The Bottom Line
A $0 annual fee Chase Ink card that pays you up to $240 a year in groceries is one of the easiest wins in the Chase lineup, and the value multiplies with every eligible card you hold. Enroll today, set your reminder, and don’t let a single month’s credit slip away.
